Exo4Edu partners at Paris Observatory, Meudon, France.

The second face-to-face meeting of the Exo4Edu project partners took place on the 23rd and 24th of September, 2025, at Paris Observatory, in Meudon, France.

Partners from four European countries – France, Albania, Romania, and Portugal – came together to evaluate the progress of this exciting initiative.

The meeting focused on the implementation and progress of the EXO4EDU project, with a focus on:

  • reviewing the development and translation of the Scholar website dedicated to exoplanets and related educational content, including its structure, functionality, and tools for promoting inclusivity and accessibility.
  • the demonstration of a 3D solar system visualization tool, plans for summer schools and training sessions for teachers, and discussions on organizing events and developing educational programs focused on astronomy and exoplanets.
  • implementing a student and teacher training project in exoplanet science, with discussions covering teacher workshops, competitions, and accessibility requirements for the website.
  • exploring assessment tools and evaluation methods for tracking student progress, while also addressing technical challenges related to database management and system upgrades.
  • discussing community building efforts through a new platform, including registration requirements and moderation strategies, while reviewing progress towards achieving the goals of the project.
