The first face-to-face meeting of the Exo4Edu project partners took place on the 25th of November, 2025, at Paris Observatory, in Meudon, France.
Here are some key highlights of the meeting:
- Partners from four European countries – France, Albania, Romania, and Portugal – came together to launch this exciting initiative.
- The project is developing a comprehensive website with a database of known exoplanets, 3D visualisations, and tutorials for teachers and students.
- Teacher training is a core component of Exo4Edu, with national sessions planned in each partner country, and two international summer schools to be held in Albania.
- The project aims to train at least 150 teachers, who will then share their newfound knowledge and resources with their students.
- Students will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities, analyze real exoplanet data, and even use AR/VR applications to explore distant planetary systems.
